Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 02 February 2026
This Master Terms & Conditions sets the baseline legal terms for the FPV School Hub ecosystem (the "Services").
For the master index of legal policies and site-entry links (by property/domain), see:
/legal
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") set the baseline rules for accessing and using the FPV School Hub ecosystem (the "Services").
"FPV School", "we", "us", and "our" means FPV SCHOOL LIMITED (England and Wales) and the FPV School Hub properties we operate.
These Terms apply to your access to and use of the Services, including (non-exhaustive):
- websites, landing pages, and pages hosted under FPV School domains and subdomains;
- articles, guides, checklists, downloads, and educational resources;
- accounts, unified login/SSO, and any shared account infrastructure (where enabled);
- community features such as comments, forums, or community platforms (where enabled);
- tools, plugins, and interactive features (including AI-assisted tools where enabled);
- purchase flows, digital products, courses, and subscriptions (where enabled);
- communications you send to us (for example: support requests, feedback, forms, and emails).
Different FPV School properties can offer different features, and some features may be unavailable, experimental, or limited to specific regions or audiences. These Terms apply regardless of whether a feature is free or paid, unless a separate written agreement applies.
For the master index of legal policies and site-entry links (by property/domain), see:
/legal
These Terms should be read together with:
- Privacy Policy: /legal/privacy-policy
- Cookie Policy: /legal/cookie-policy
- Acceptable Use Policy: /legal/acceptable-use-policy
- General & FPV Safety Disclaimers: /legal/safety-disclaimers
- Affiliate Disclosure: /legal/affiliate-disclosure
1.1 Site-entry pages and property-specific terms (how this scales)
Some FPV School properties may publish a shorter "site-entry" terms page on their own domain. Site-entry pages are intended to:
- summarise key points for that specific property; and
- point back to this Master page for the baseline terms, definitions, and ecosystem-wide rules.
Some properties may also publish additional terms that apply to a specific feature, tool, or purchase flow (for example: e-commerce, shipping, refunds, course access, subscriptions, or community participation). Where such property-specific terms exist, they apply alongside these Terms for that property/feature.
Order of priority:
1) any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under law;
2) the property-specific terms for the relevant feature/purchase (where clearly identified);
3) these Master Terms (baseline rules);
4) linked policies referenced above (which form part of the "rules of use" for the Services).
If there is a conflict, the property-specific terms prevail only for the specific property/feature they address, and these Master Terms continue to apply to everything else.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "FPV School", "we", "us", "our" means FPV SCHOOL LIMITED (England and Wales) and the FPV School Hub properties we operate.
- "Services" means the FPV School websites, subdomains, tools, plugins, communities, and related features that we make available (whether free or paid), including any shared infrastructure (such as unified login/SSO) where enabled.
- "You", "your", "user" means any person who accesses or uses the Services, including visitors, customers, and account holders.
- "Content" means any material made available through the Services, including text, images, video/audio, downloads, templates, checklists, documentation, and educational resources.
- "User Content" means any material you submit, upload, post, publish, or otherwise provide through the Services (where enabled), including comments, forum posts, messages, images, files, and feedback.
- "Account" means a user account, profile, login credential set, or identity record used to access the Services, including any unified login/SSO implementation where enabled.
- "Digital Products" means downloadable or access-controlled digital items (for example: files, templates, members-only resources, software/tools, or similar).
- "Courses" / "Learning Content" means structured educational content (for example: lessons, modules, quizzes, progress tracking, or completion states) where provided.
- "Purchase" means any paid transaction for Products/Services (including subscriptions) processed through the relevant property and its payment providers.
- "Third-Party Services" means services not operated by us that may be linked to, embedded, or integrated with the Services (for example: video hosts, payment providers, analytics, community platforms).
- "Safety-critical" means anything that could reasonably affect physical safety, legal compliance, or property damage (for example: LiPo/LiHV charging, propeller safety, firmware/failsafe configuration, flight location rules, repair/build integrity).
- "Working days" means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales.
- "Terms" means these Terms & Conditions (Master) and any documents expressly incorporated by reference (including the linked policies listed in Section 1).
3. Eligibility and your responsibilities
You must use the Services lawfully, safely, and responsibly.
You are responsible for:
- ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, aviation/drone rules, and local requirements in your location;
- keeping your device(s) secure and maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials (where applicable);
- ensuring any information you provide to us is accurate where accuracy is required (for example: account email, purchase/contact details);
- verifying safety-critical information before acting on it, using authoritative sources (for example: manufacturer manuals/specs and official regulations);
- your own decisions, actions, flights, builds, repairs, charging, storage, and any consequences arising from them.
You must not use the Services in a way that:
- violates the Acceptable Use Policy;
- interferes with the security or availability of the Services; or
- exposes other people to avoidable risk.
3.1 Children and minors
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not designed for children.
If you are under the age required to form a legally binding contract where you live, you must not create an Account or make a Purchase unless a parent/guardian is involved to the extent required by law.
Where features allow submissions (for example: contact forms, comments, community posts, uploads), a parent/guardian should supervise any use by minors.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, or a parent/guardian asks us to, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict that data where required or appropriate. Contact: legal@fpvschool.com.
4. Acceptable use (summary)
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP):
/legal/acceptable-use-policy
The AUP forms part of these Terms. It covers (among other things) prohibited activity, security misuse, abusive behaviour, unlawful conduct, and misuse of FPV/drone-related content.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is:
- misuse, abuse, or a breach of the AUP or these Terms;
- a security risk, fraud risk, or technical threat to the Services or other users;
- unlawful activity or a credible allegation requiring action;
- a safety risk (including repeated unsafe behaviour in community areas where enabled).
5. Accounts and unified login/SSO (where enabled)
Some FPV School properties may allow you to create an Account or use unified login/SSO across multiple properties.
Where Account features exist:
- you must provide accurate and up-to-date information where required (for example: email address);
- you must keep credentials confidential and must not share, sell, rent, or transfer access;
- you are responsible for activity under your Account unless you notify us promptly of unauthorised access;
- you must use reasonable measures to protect your Account (for example: strong passwords, device security, and enabling 2FA where available).
If you believe your Account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible: legal@fpvschool.com.
5.1 Shared identity across properties (SSO)
Where SSO or shared account infrastructure exists, one Account may allow access across multiple FPV School properties. Depending on the setup and what you use, this can include:
- authentication and access status (for example: whether you are logged in and what features you can access);
- basic profile settings you choose to share (for example: display name/avatar where enabled);
- service entitlements (for example: purchase-based access, memberships, course enrolments where enabled).
We aim to minimise what is shared and processed across properties, and to separate data where properties have different purposes or feature sets. For how personal data is handled, see:
/legal/privacy-policy
5.2 Availability, changes, and security measures
Account features, SSO, integrations, and related tooling may be changed, rate-limited, restricted, or discontinued at any time (for example: maintenance, security, abuse prevention, provider changes, or product decisions).
To protect the Services, we may apply reasonable security and integrity controls, such as:
- session limits, device checks, rate limits, anti-spam and anti-abuse controls;
- temporary locks or verification steps where we detect suspicious activity;
- resets or forced sign-outs where needed to maintain security.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Account features or SSO.
6. Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless stated otherwise, we (and/or our licensors) own the Services and the Content, including all associated intellectual property rights (for example: copyright, trademarks, branding, logos, and design).
6.1 Limited licence to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content for:
- your personal learning and educational use; and
- other uses that are explicitly permitted by the specific page, licence notice, or product terms (where provided),
in each case only within the intended purpose of the Services.
This licence does not transfer ownership to you.
6.2 What you must not do (baseline restrictions)
You must not, without our prior written permission (or unless permitted by mandatory law):
- copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, or make available substantial parts of the Content or Services;
- sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit Content (including paid reposts, bundling, or reselling);
- remove attribution, watermarks, copyright notices, or licensing notices;
- scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract Content (including using bots/automation) where it is unreasonable or bypasses technical protections;
- use our name, branding, logos, or trademarks in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or official status without written consent;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code or underlying components of any tools where prohibited by law or terms.
6.3 Sharing and fair use (practical allowance)
You may share short excerpts or links for commentary, review, or discussion where lawful, provided you:
- do not misrepresent the source;
- keep attribution intact; and
- do not share paid/gated materials outside the permitted access scope.
If you want to reuse Content commercially (for example: training material, paid courses, marketing, or redistribution), contact us to discuss permission/licensing: legal@fpvschool.com.
7. User-generated content (where enabled)
Some properties may allow you to submit or publish User Content (for example: comments, community posts, uploads, messages, profiles, or feedback).
7.1 Your responsibilities for User Content
If you submit User Content, you confirm that:
- you have the right to submit it and it does not infringe third-party rights;
- it is lawful and not harmful;
- it does not include confidential information you do not have permission to share; and
- it does not contain malware or malicious code.
You remain responsible for your User Content and anything you submit through the Services.
7.2 Licence you grant to us
By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to:
- host, store, reproduce, adapt/format, display, and distribute that User Content;
- do so for the purpose of operating, providing, improving, securing, and moderating the Services (including backups and technical processing); and
- permit access to your User Content as intended by the feature (for example: displaying your comment publicly where comments are enabled).
This licence continues for as long as your User Content remains on the Services and for a reasonable period afterwards where required for technical, legal, security, or backup purposes.
7.3 Removal and moderation
We may remove, restrict, or disable access to User Content that breaches these Terms, the AUP, or applicable law, or that we reasonably believe creates risk.
You understand that removing User Content may not immediately remove copies stored in backups or logs, which may persist for a limited period.
8. FPV and safety-critical information
FPV drones, batteries, chargers, radio systems, and flight activities carry inherent risks and can lead to serious injury, fire, property damage, privacy impacts, and legal/regulatory consequences.
All Content across the Services is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional advice, not a substitute for manufacturer documentation, and not a guarantee of safety, legality, or suitability for your specific equipment or circumstances.
You are solely responsible for:
- verifying safety-critical and compliance-critical details using authoritative sources (for example: manufacturer manuals/specifications, firmware release notes, and official aviation authority rules);
- configuring, bench-testing, and flight-testing in a controlled environment before real-world use (including checking failsafes and safety features);
- operating safely and lawfully, including respecting local rules on airspace, people/property proximity, privacy, and any required authorisations;
- your own decisions, actions, builds, repairs, charging, storage, transport, and flights (and any outcomes resulting from them).
Where we provide examples (for example: rates, tunes, build suggestions, checklists, recommended settings), they are illustrative only and may be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your setup.
For the full baseline disclaimer and limitation of liability notice, see:
/legal/safety-disclaimers
9. AI-assisted tools (where enabled)
Some FPV School properties may include AI-assisted tools (for example, the FPV School Virtual Expert).
9.1 What to assume about AI outputs
AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, ambiguous, or misleading, and may sound confident even when wrong. Outputs can vary depending on missing context, user input quality, and the configuration of the tool at the time.
You must not rely on AI outputs as the sole basis for:
- safety-critical decisions (for example: LiPo/LiHV charging, power system wiring, failsafe settings, flight planning, repair/build integrity);
- regulatory compliance decisions (for example: what is lawful to fly, where, and under what conditions); or
- any decision that could reasonably lead to harm, loss, or damage.
9.2 Your responsibility when using AI tools
You are responsible for:
- verifying AI outputs using authoritative sources before acting;
- applying professional judgement for your own equipment and environment; and
- stopping and seeking qualified help where you are unsure.
AI-specific rules, limitations, and prohibited use (where enabled):/legal/ai-virtual-expert-policy (not currently active)
10. Third-party services, links, and embeds
The Services may link to, embed, or integrate third-party websites, tools, platforms, or content (for example: video hosts, payment providers, community platforms, maps, widgets, or external resources).
We do not control Third-Party Services and are not responsible for:
- their content, accuracy, safety, legality, or availability;
- their pricing, features, support, warranties, refunds, or performance; or
- their terms, privacy practices, or policies.
Your use of Third-Party Services is governed by their own terms and policies. Where you choose to interact with them, you do so at your own risk.
11. Affiliate relationships and commercial content (where applicable)
Some Content may include affiliate links, referral tracking, discount codes, sponsorships, paid partnerships, or product samples.
We aim to disclose commercial relationships clearly and in-context. See:
/legal/affiliate-disclosure
12. Purchases and paid products (where enabled)
Some FPV School properties may offer paid products or services (for example: digital products, courses, memberships, subscriptions, or merchandise). Where paid features exist, additional purchase-specific terms may apply, including:
- Terms of Sale:
/legalterms-of-sale/ - Refunds & Returns:
/legalrefunds-returns/ - Shipping Policy:
/legalshipping-policy/ - Course & Digital Content Terms:
/legalcourse-terms/
The above 4 policies are inactive and will be enabled once we publicly make available such products and services. Please read below for more.
If any of the above pages are not yet published or clearly "active" for a given property, that typically means the relevant paid feature is not currently offered on that property, or the feature is still being implemented. The presence of these links in the Legal Hub does not, by itself, mean that a specific paid service is available right now, and no launch date is implied.
Where a specific property does offer a paid product/service, the applicable checkout flow, product page, and property-specific notices will identify which purchase terms apply.
13. Disclaimers and no warranties
The Services and Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not make (and disclaim) warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind (whether express or implied), including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that:
- the Services will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
- defects will always be corrected immediately (or at all);
- Content will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your specific situation;
- any specific result, performance, outcome, or improvement will be achieved.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
See also (especially for safety-critical topics):
/legal/safety-disclaimers
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to Section 14.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses or damages arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Services; and
- we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, data, or business opportunities, nor for damage to equipment, arising from reliance on Content, tools, AI outputs, or Third-Party Services/products.
Where we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and will be assessed based on the specific facts and applicable legal rules.
14.1 What we do not exclude
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including (where applicable):
- liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and
- any other liability which the law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
For avoidance of doubt, you remain responsible for your own actions and decisions (including flights, builds, repairs, charging, and compliance), and you should not rely on the Services as the sole basis for safety-critical or compliance-critical decisions.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FPV SCHOOL LIMITED (and our directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents) from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs/expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- your unlawful, unsafe, or negligent use of the Services;
- your User Content (including any claim that it infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or causes harm);
- your misuse of the Services in a way that causes loss, damage, or disruption to others.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct, or where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services (including Accounts and paid access where applicable) where we reasonably believe there is:
- a breach of these Terms, the AUP, or any incorporated policy;
- misuse, abuse, or behaviour that creates risk to safety, security, or other users;
- suspected fraud, unlawful activity, or a credible legal/compliance issue;
- a security incident or technical threat (including attempts to bypass controls, spam, scraping, or exploitation).
We may act immediately where we believe there is risk or where delay would cause harm.
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy, but we are not required to do so where:
- urgent action is needed (security, safety, legal risk); or
- the breach is serious or repeated.
Termination may not remove Content already published elsewhere, and some information may remain in backups for a limited period (see Privacy Policy).
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, technology, business operations, or legal requirements.
When we update these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may also provide an additional notice where reasonably practicable (for example via a site notice or account notification where Accounts exist).
Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to you (for example, where you are a consumer resident in another country and local law grants you additional rights).
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
